Greely is a village located on the southern boundary of Ottawa, Canada's National Capital.

The Greely Lions Club was chartered in 1988 and since then has been an active within the community and Lions International.  Welcome to our website.

Lions Clubs International Mission Statement is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.

In keeping with the Lions International Mission Statement, the Greely Lions have devoted themselves to three key themes:

  • Our elders, through support to the Osgoode Care Centre and other activities that seek to improve the welfare of our elders in the Greely area.
  • Our children, through support to various organisations such as Scouts Canada, Girl Guides and local sports teams.
  • Our community, through support to local activities such as Canada Day, the Greely Loop trail, Winter Carnival and other events or public consultations that affect our village and its environs.

The Lions also look for opportunities to provide care or comfort to those in need through support to the Osgoode Food Cupboard and an annual Christmas hamper to those families in greatest need.
